I know I posted this once already but told you as soon as the flowers opened I would post again. However they don't seem to open much and there are more blooms. Please take another look and tell me what this is Thank you so very much

Check out "lipstick plant" (Aeschynanthus) in plantfiles... not sure which one you have exactly, but it seems similar to this one: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/showimage/96669/

It's supposed to be quite easy to grow from cuttings, by the way... just stick them in moist potting mix... they may root in a glass of water, too. :-)

What's the trick of taking a cutting from this plant?
Does it have to be a certain length and which is
better water or soil?

I'd try tip cuttings, maybe 3-5 inches long, enough to strip off a couple of leaves and bury the part of the stem with those bare leaf nodes. If you've got a plant to play with, try a couple of cuttings straight into potting mix and stick a couple in water... I think I've heard of doing them both ways with this plant, and "better" is often a matter of individual experience. Good luck!
