GM all Just got back from town & I planted a few seeds this morning & more yet to plant but had to take a coffee break didn't get much sleep last night so got to try to get caught up today while it is rainy cannot work outside , hope your all haven a great day .

I want to plant seed!! :'( Supposed to rain tomorrow. I have DG-er coming to the house in the AM :) She is a newbie here but lives 5 miles from me. Im excited. Not too much to show in the gardens yet, but more than this time last year.
Might be a good day to put seed in the ground if its raining. Have HUNDREDS to pick from...:)
The robin arrived at my house last night and boy, what a stuffed box it was. Much like this point in time last robin, it is time for a new box. I will do some "box shopping" tomorrow at the post office. I love the variety of veggies this time around. I couldn't read all the hand writing so who put in the "genetically modified, neon pink cukes and shinny green tomatoes?" Awesome! I can't wait till fall to get these in the ground.
Anyone know how to keep lizzards from eating my beans?
try sprinkling hot pepper like you put on pizza's around the plants or maybe the smell of cinnamon might help help keep them away .
Put 'em in a cage :) LOL! (the lizards, not the beans) You could get crickets from the pet store...they like crickets.
AWE Heck Feed them a bean or two Now & Again they seem to like them also :) Or even the tips When you snip :)

Connie, the Amaranthus seeds you requested are in the wind...lol Mailed them today.
There were only 25 in each pack so those of you who asked for them, I'm really sorry you'll only receive 5-6 seeds of each variety. They're pretty fresh, though, and by late Sumer or early Fall you all should have hundreds of them to harvest.
Diamond Girl, I put money in your envy to reimburse you for postage for the Knock Out Rose. Hope that's OK with you.

Susan, please don't send any money. I'm paying you back for all the wonderful plants, bulbs and seeds you have sent to me over the years. You did me a favor by taking one. I'm not a fan of pink in my garden. It's a beautiful shrub. I hope she make you proud.
I will be on vaca until the 5th of May starting Saturday. If the box is close to me by then can we hold it up a couple of days? I'm the last one on the list before Susie. Worse case scenario we can send ahead to Susie.
