If you order you postage online, it is about 15% cheaper and you don't have to pay for delivery confirmation. You just print it on your computer and stick the box in the mail or take it to the post office. I swear, they are trying to put themselves out of business. Oh well! Better for me to save the money!

What kind of paper and where do you purchase it? Post Office?

I use just plain typing paper hehe. I tape over the address in case of the weather BUT you don't want to tape over the bar code. I have sent out many boxes and have saved lots of money. I did have to buy a digital scale to weigh the box but it has paid for itself.

I use regular paper, and clear packing tape to cover the label/address. However, you can use full page label sheets if you want and then peel and stick. Also, you DO NOT have to weigh the item when using flat rate boxes and envelopes...I always just estimate and go a little heavy to be safe. You can pick up flat rate boxes/envelopes at the post office, or you can request that they be delivered to your home free of charge via usps.com

For years, I've been printing my own USPS labels, and like you Connie, have a digital scale for weighing #4 an #7 Priority Boxes (long before Flat Rate was introduced) and now they're offering Regional Priority Mail boxes in several sizes that are convenient for mailing to someone in your vicinity. The cost of my $20 scale has been worth its weight in Gold. Hi fruity, health took a down turn for a while and I just got too busy with my volunteer driving, but have cut back to only 2 days a week driving.

I sopke to Susie this morning. She is glad to be done with her stress test! She wanted to know how many participants she has for the Robin. Stephanie, thanks for making the list. LoL I was going through the [posts trying t make a list for Susie. She hopes to be able o get the Robin in the mail by the 16th but doesn't know for sure when she will be released, yet. I will email Jim the number with the names for Susie.

We are having rain today with the temps in the high 50s/low 60s.

She's home! I talked to her a couple of hours ago and sends special thank you's for all your good thoughts, prayers, and well wishes. Had it not been for tornado warnings in her area North and South of her that have probably passed by now, she would have been on tonight, just didn't want to risk being on her computer. Jim came to check on her while we were talking. She told me how thankful she is having so many wonderful gardening friends that care about her. That's our Susie and know we all feel the same way!

She was excited to hear about participants who have joined the Spring Robin in the past few days, and said to thank you, Stephanie, for keeping the list up-to-date :)

I told her I would help before all this happened! I knew she was over doing it...

I on the other had was in a car accident this evening on my way home from work. I got rear ended which shoved me into the car in front of me. Really sore, but other wise okay as far as I can tell. The van is pretty messed up..I think its totaled.

Glad Susie is back home and starting to feel better.

Oh my goodness!! So sorry to hear the news. Glad Susie is home and has such a wonderful brother to update us. Susan, thanks for letting us know she is home. Stephanie, sorry to hear about your accident but glad you are just sore and not in the hospital. It will take a little bit to get over that. You both will be in my thoughts and prayers. Ummm....ya'll are starting to scare me with illnesses and accidents and I hope it has nothing to do with this RR lol! Seriously, everyone please take care of yourselves and get better :)
