I have a meyer lemon in a pot and have been using miracle grow -miracid for fertilizer.
The plant is brought indoors for the winter ( in a Southern exposure sliding glass door) and is currently doing it's winter flowering (I also did the small paint brush technique to mimic the bee's and maybe set more fruit etc.)
-2 weeks ago I did fertilize with miracid and it's flowering, do you fertilize with something that has more "P" when blooming?
- I usually only water in the winter and hold off on feeding, figuring the tree inside need's a winter rest from the active growing when it's outside. Is this a good idea, or should I just cut back feeding by say 1/2?
(usually summer feeding is every 2 weeks, 2 small scoops in 1/2 gal. water, 1TBSP I think)
Thanks
Those that have meyer lemon in pots?
