DG helped immensely with my depression. Last summer, I weaned myself off the meds while we traveled. Sometimes, I can feel it creeping up, but it hasn't gotten bad.

Thanks. Gardening is def therapeutic. By the way, on 60 Minutes tomorrow is a researcher who claims to 'prove' anti-depressants are no more effective than placebo!

Mrs. Lidwell, I know what you mean. Gardening has helped my anxiety and depression an awful lot. I feel more depressed in the winter than any other time, and I think it's not only because of the shorter days, but also not being able to do my gardening.

Thanks everyone! This is Domenic Joseph Roberto....mom dad and baby are doing well, tired but well. My DIL has a large Italian family and they were all at the hospital.(as opposed to my small Italian family) My son finally had to tell them it was time to go!
