Fabulous pics. as usual Cousin Dave, I love them all but especially favor the Northern Flicker in flight. Duc, I agreed with everyone the CW is a cool shot! Nanny, I would love to get a glimpse at the Pileated woodpecker, just once. So green with envy here.

Dave, love those Bluebirds. Absolutely beautiful.

He must have dropped his snack, went down into the snow to retrieve it and dropped it again. Note the water droplets on his beak. I was looking elsewhere when he flew down and back after retrieving the morsel the first time. When I Iooked back, he was looking down at it.

Cute Granny!
Dave, I saw 2 hawks doing that the other day. Must be getting close to Valentines Day -- yuck!
Duc, cool window shots!
Lily, I'm always hoping for Purple Finches too! Keep trying. House finches are nice though too.
Red, nice pic of that ugly duck!
Nanny, glad you pils are still around. They know to come when summoned by the queen.

I had a new yardbird show up yesterday. Finally got an OK shot of him today in the rain. I've seen them down south, but this is the first one in the yard, a Bronzed Cowbird. I suppose that I shouldn't hope for a cowbird to stick around, but I would like to get a photo of him and his red eye in the sun!
