Darcy Bussell vs Double Knock out Roses

Camden, NJ

I'm an ambitious beginner in zone 6b who wants to plant roses in a large container on my apartment balcony. I need info to help decide between the Darcy Bussell or the Double Knock out. Although venders label both as shrubs which can be grown in containers, I cannot find a way to compare them to see if this info is accurate and they'll fit my situation. Can anyone help me?

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Hi GCH. They are both exemplary roses. The Darcy Bussell seems to be a more compact shrub rose. Here is info from David Austin..a trustworthy source. DB is an old rose hybrid. Both varieties seem to be disease resistant. D Bussell will require deadheading.

And here is info from Conrad-Pyle..also a trusted source, on Knockout roses. The knockouts are self cleaning, so no deadheading.

Hope this helps.
