Let me preface this question by saying I'm a beginner at gardening.
Once the tulip leaves have wilted, is it OK to put a potted plant (probably a tomato) on a stand over the top of the tulips? I have some daylillies in front of the tulips that cover the empty spot, I just want to fill-in the empty spot with something edible. My little ones love picking veggies right off the plants, washing them at the hose, and eating them.
Thanks in advance,
Alberto
Putting potted plant on stand over tulips after tulip leaves
Jimenos, I put a potted plant not even on a stand over the area where my tulips and daffodils were once the foliage has died back. Does not hurt one bit. On a stand would probably be even better though.
