Coffee Break #72
Sorry about your DH's cousins, Jen....
still 5A
Jen - condolences.
Now even Twitter will start censoring to 'abide by other country's policies.' Ugh.
some of my youtube videos get blocked in other countries
Really?!!
well yeah if you can see a woman's skin, I'm assuming it's blocked in some countries...LOL
Not organic I did mean 'raw'
This is the farm that is recommended by my hhp, that ships raw dairy

Some funny stuff today on Twitter regarding Gingrich's lamebrain lunar base idea.
I'm a tea drinker too.
didn't see the lunar base thing....I'll have to look it up
Yum just treated myself to some new chai tea a teapot and some Germain rock sugar. Actually wish it was a bit colder today!
oooooo, what's German rock sugar????
Jen it's unrefined sugar crystals, had a mild brown sugar taste. No better for you health wise than white sugar just a better taste in my tea. I happen to like it sweet especially the chai. And it looks nice on my counter! LOL
big day here as my better half graduate's with her BS in nursing with a 4.0 GPA. also her b-day. talk about luck one present takes care of two occasions!!
Just kidding she will be well presented - and i did make her a stone flower arrangement that I gave her this morning so she could take it to work.
Cool and a big congrats! Only 4.0?? ^_^
Nice Bill, congrats to your wife!
wha, she's worth a million!
(And she deserves only the nicest rocks, pun intended!)
Thanks all
she prefer's the diamond variety rocks in multiple carats BA - hard to find those on the beach - hopefully the "flowers" will satisfy her for a while :)
You gave her rocks from your yard?
Jen, that is so sad! Please pass along our condolences!
Bill- woohoo for Cindy! So glad she'll be free to help out more in the garden and with moving boulders now! (Tee Hee, she'll kill me for that one, won't she?). Seriously, she worked long and hard and it sure paid off. Please tell her that Hank and I are very happy for her. And also please wish her a happy birthday for us too.
Time to do some serious rock shopping!
Jan23 and her lovely friend just left after a very fun visit. It was so nice to finally meet her in person. As is the case at the RUs, it just seemed we had known her for years. It is really amazing how great DG is for meeting the nicest people! Of course we talked about you all. LOL
Congrats to your wife, Bill
T-paper roll is IN the shower. LOL
Bill, congratulations to Cindy....quite an accomplishment!! A trip to the jewelry store is in order......Louise, glad you had a nice visit with Jan.....I visited with my friends who moved from FL back to CT in Oct. They are in an assisted living facility....had a lovely visit, but I must say the food was pretty bad!
go Cindy!!!!.. good for you!!!!
Congrats Cindy!!!! Happy Birthday too!!!!!!!!
I'm sure they enjoyed seeing you very much, Marilyn. Visits are really important for people once they make the leap to assisted living, aren't they?
DD is a cheering coach for a S. Maine High School, she has competition today in Augusta which is only 20 mins away. Going to watch, she has done wonders w/this team...last year they didn't do so well, it was her 1st year w/these girls. Looking forward to see how far they've come after another season of getting to know her and each other. Wish her luck please!!
Congrats to your wife. Its not easy to get a degree, work and run a house.
Sis boom bah! Good luck to DD and the cheering squad!
Am I thick or something?
Does anyone "get" the google page today?
Big snowflake yes - but the cow?
Huh?
Didn't see it, Jo......Yes, Louise, my friends were happy to see me & vice versa....they were in college with Doug, so we've been friends for a long time! Pixie, glad your DD is doing that coaching...kids need a good role model....
re: Google page image
I think the cow represents something living, that can turn its head and notice the "Big Snowflake Event"; it adds motion and a living creature's reaction to the tableau.
edit: That's why department store windows during Christmas season often feature designs with machine movements of some kind. Motion draws attention, 2 million years of mammal evolution.
