now that i have my crafty brother here 24/7 he will build me lots of trelluses , he;s working on birdhouses right now out of old barn wood we just got a few days ago. anyone need birdhouses ??? what type you want ???? type of bird you want to attract ? most of them will sell for $7. +shipping . they will not be painted that will be up to you to do.

Those dream catchers are too cool made from the devils claw, I love those, please post pics of your newer ones if you have any. Have to admit those seed pods are pretty wicked looking, I would hate to be an animal and have them trapped on my foot, I am guessing they are hard unless they are soaked.

I have three packs of DC, LK was only one who asked so I have two more of them, and Fruity, that is prolly where the original seed came from, when I am in a seed tossing frenzy, things do nt get tagged as I throw them about in spring.. I still have seed bags I am fixing up for ya all, so be patient, I never seem to have enough daylight that isn't eaten up by WORK. ugh.
( grateful I still have a job, we are losing Boeing after 80 years of being here and 2100 people will be either re located or laid off or what ever, my BIL included. Poor SIL , Paula, she might have to re-locate to San Antonio with her hubby. He works on AirForce one in Washington right now for a year. She is still here... Alone.

If they move to San Antonio, just another excuse to get your but down here for a visit!

I would like to try a few DC 's are they hard to grow ??? will they grow i POTS ??? jim had to bowl tonight so i'm in with daddy news just said 43* tomorrow yet & it was i the 40's today :)

The boeing thing is the pits, that will effect the company I work for big time, we do lots of work for boeing. After Wichita fought for boeing to get that contract from the Feds, and that is how they repay everyone. Bad deal. Course those are good paying jobs and will have a trickle down effect on the whole city.

I loved San Antonio when I lived there. You will have to go down in the winter Debra and enjoy the warmer weather and of course get to meet all of our Texans! How fun that will be, altho I know you will miss your SIL.

EVENING All well Had to sit in with daddy today for JIM & Jan had appointment wasn't to bad I Guess I'm On The mend :)
anyway just wanted to share what brother Jim has made for us & Going to make up more to sell this spring when we have our spring sale .
the roof opens for easy clean going to bring one out to paint it just to see how it would look. these are made out of the old barn wood.

Faye called this afternoon to thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers for her and Ray and also wanted us to know why she hasn't posted the past several days. Ray went in the hospital last Friday suffering from a kidney stone in the only kidney he has and only functions at 30%. She was at the hospital with him, getting ready to take him home. This Friday they will go back to the hospital for his cancer surgery. Faye sounded as upbeat as possible considering the tremendous stress she's under. She sends love and hugs.

Thanks for the update, I hope all goes well with the surgery. Praying hard for them both, here.

Faye called this evening and what follows breaks my heart and is among the saddest news I've ever had to relay in my life.

Ray wasn't able to go home Monday, and Faye has been by his side at the hospital since last Friday. She's exhausted getting home around 11 PM, falls into bed, and gets up one more day to be with him. There's no easy way to say this, Ladies. Ray has congestive heart failure and a Cardiologist is monitoring his heart; a Nephrologist is monitoring Raye's only kidney; and a Pulmonologist has been called in to monitor Ray's shortness of breath. Since he's so very ill and weak, another surgery Friday is doubtful.

Those of you who haven't had an opportunity to meet Faye and Ray, they are truly soul mates who have a rare, deep, abiding love for each other, and a strong faith. Please keep them in you thoughts and pray as hard as you ever have for Ray.

Good Morning everyone. Only have a minute and want to thank each of you for your prayers. It is prayer that has kept Ray and me going. Dear friend Susan, thank you so much for being my voice and caring. Love you all.
Strange, but twice now Ray has been saved because of Kidney Stones. I know it was the hand of God. The first time Kidney Stones led to the cancer in his kidney. This time the the Kidney Stone pain led the Dr.'s.. to find his heart problem. Had I taken Ray home when he was supposed to go, he may not be alive today. Ray got sick at the Hospital after his release papers had been signed. By staying another night, the Dr.'s found his heart trouble. Goodness, if I had time I would like to vent about this entire week. Like when Ray went home last Fri. and had to go back to the Hosp. early Sat. morning.
As far as I know now, Ray is still on go for surgery tomorrow. Depending on how stable his heart & lungs are tonight and early tomorrow a m. Please keep Ray in your prayers, this surgery is going to be tough.
Have to feed my four footed sons and get back to the Hospital.

Spoke with Faye briefly about going down to visit tomorrow. She said they were taking Ray into surgery this afternoon after all. He must be showing improvement (!?) so keep on praying.

Just think, Jo, if it hadn't been for your "picnic idea" it's unlikely any of us would have ever met. I'm so grateful for my DG friends, both those I've had an opportunity to meet, and a lot more I would like to.

Hello dear friends Thank you all for your good wishes and prayers. Ray did have the surgery late today against the better judgment of the....can't spell him..the guy that put him to sleep & kept him sleep for surgery. Ray was told just before surgery that the fear was that he would wake up in ICU because of the congestive heart failure. Praise God, that didn't happen and I pray it won't. Ray is coughing worse and it's said that's coming from the heart trouble. Susan I'm sorry for the text instead of a call, it has been so hard for me to talk to anyone without crying. I love you lady and do thank you for handling the news for me. I do hope you and Mandy can come. I would love it and I know Ray would.

I' tired and I'm happy that the surgery is over. Have to feed my boys now, finish laundry, shower then to bed so I can be @ hospital early in the morning.

Hello, hello, hello, Ray is home and doing amazing. To see him,you would never know he has been so sick. God is so good! Thank you all for all the prayers. Ray went from a blocked Kidney,& Congestive Heart Failure then to surgery all in 1 week and is home doing great. I am so happy to have him home. There's more that has made me extremely happy today...dear sweet Mandy came and got to the Hospital before Ray went home. Had a great visit...OH Mandy, hurry back!

I just pulled 2 chunks of someone's raisin bread from the freezer yesterday. Ha ha!

I had so much fun, ladies I could hardly believe my eyes when I walked into Ray's room at the hospital - he was sitting up in the chair all dressed to go and Faye was reclining in bed. :D

These 2 were in high spirits as always and I could hardly believe the stories about Ray being sick. They really had me going there this week . . . they'd better cut it out.

You are both in my prayers Faye, and Snoopy and I will be back to visit as soon as we can get away. i haven't seen her so happy as she was playing with your 2 dogs in a very long while.
