I want to propagate my plumeria but I think I made a mistake because I cut the very tip of it where the little leaves are growing. Will it still root without the tip?
Plumeria cutting question
That's not my "usual" way of taking cuttings. lol My advise would be to try it, you'll never know unless you try. Just be sure to let the cut end callous over before sticking it in soil. Good Luck!
I usually just snap smaller branches off right at the base of the main and then pot in soil, they root fast. The way you cut it might work and might actually grow two shoots at the top now. I do this to some of my succulents so they split in two or three at the top...forgive me I don't know the "technical wording" I believe maybe "topping"?
So try it just like 1lisac said...you never know until you try! Good luck :)
