Looking 4 a mentor

San Bernardino, CA(Zone 9a)

Hi, my name is Robyn and I'm looking for a mentor. Someone who can answer my questions specific to my flower bed. I've searched the forums and it's so hard to find answers that are just right. I'm sure I'm not the only one who feel this way. If anyone is interested, just let me know. I promise to keep the questions to a managable heap. Thanks.

I would use this forum as the place to post your questions. That's really what this forum is all about, and if you post here you'll get advice from lots of people not just one, and other gardeners can also see the advice and use it themselves so everyone benefits.

If you would like specific answers to your specific questions, check with your county extension office. Every county in the USA has an extension office, and the county agents and master gardeners you find there would be of great help. Just check in your local phonebook for their number.

thank you. I had no idea something like that was around.

I think all the others have answered your question, I agree with them all and would add that every time you ask a question there is probably some other new gardener with the same question so as I think Ecrane said, everyone can either get the answer they need or several people will answer you, mostly with different ways, tools, ides etc, but with genuine interest in trying to help people out, but you can find whats best for you from the answers.
The forums are always friendly, understanding and willing you on to help you enjoy your new venture into gardening, it takes time and a lot of patience so don't expect instant results to be produced in your new garden but, what everyone will give you the most of is lots of encouragement.
Good luck. WeeNel.
