Wondering how I might research which bears a sweet large fruit? I've never tasted a difference in the ones sold at the grocer but you know how some strawberries are sweet/some tart, some grapes are mushy/some firm. Just wondering if I need to be mindful of possible qualities in the fruits for kiwi before purchasing the plants?
I have read you need to purchase both a male and a female plant to get the fruits.
PF search for "kiwi fruit" yielded tons of results but again - without looking at each listing --- is there a better list or someone who knows, does it matter which variety of it I end up buying?

Personally I've never seen any varieties listed as sweeter than others or anything, but I'm not experienced with kiwis so I can't say for sure. And yes you do need a male and a female and will have to pollinate them to get fruit.
Thank you :)
