Clouds moved in, not as warm today, but still nice for late Nov. Happy Anniversary, Louise & Hank...of course the pups have to help celebrate!
Northeast Gardening: Weather In Your Garden # 108
Loving this mild weather. We have earned a mild winter. But you know how it goes - winter will come on us hard and fast.
Let's think positive thoughts.....no more snow!!! High today was about 55.
overcast this morning made for a good raking day - got the "yard" done now need to tackle the outback.
going to 66 today.. getting spoiled!
Woke up to 45, high for today is 56 but with rain. Bye-bye snow!!
Good morning, everyone.
Currently 41 degrees and rain in WNY, heading for the 50's. Warm for this time of year.
Have a blessed and marvelous Monday, friends. ☺

Low 60s here today....just what the doctor ordered!

Cool!
It's still 56 here!
Heavenly for Maine! It was very nice here as well.....walked up Wigwam Rd. which is a dirt road running through water company property....branches are still scattered everywhere....
Windows and doors open again today.
It isn't too cold, and there was only some brisk wind, but our transformer blew out our power anyway. Fortunately the power crew came quickly. Now it's 56F and the winter moths are pounding on our windows again. My DH is starting to get it about replacing the Norway maples with shrubs that are home to a wider variety of insects. Also, the warmer weather outside caused the potted camellia to start to blossom. It will be heavenly.
Norway maples are thugs. Great to replace them and consider wildlife feeding!
Yeah, it's amazing how many people don't notice the problems associated with a monoculture from far away.
I also read somewhere, I think in a book about native plants that we are biologically programmed to want to create expanses of grass near our homes so we can spot and anticipate predators. Realtors and contractors know treeless houses just make lots of buyers feel more comfortable.
Lots of bulb foliage sticking out of the ground
ok so I am not crazy.. Jen I thought I saw daff foliage poking out .... 54 now going to 66.. rain today
Here too, and some trees are budding.
Good morning, all.
Currently 46 degrees with rain. Going up into the 50's. Still not bad for November.
Have a blessed and terrific Tuesday, friends. ☺

52 & cloudy.
way too warm - rain moving in later - actually feels humid out there.....
Yes very thick out there.
Looked like it rained a little overnight, supposed to rain later
Very humid is right....air is thick! But it's warm, saving me on my oil bill! Rain moving in later today....
50 and rain. the temp is dropping all day.
A forsythia bush on the dam was blooming......
rain, temps are falling
Mostly cloudy, breezy, 50...going up to 55....noticed some new branches came down during the night....
Good morning, everyone.
Cloudy and colder in WNY. Currently 39 degrees with rain mixed with snow coming this afternoon.
Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday, friends. ☺
-Dave
currently 40, had rain/snow mix this am.
54° comfortable as far as air temperature, but as the ground is wet uncomfortable for weeding. Stood it for about 45 min. by my finders in my gloves got quite cold.
We had gorgeous, cool temps in the low 70's today, so we took our daytrip early. Thanks for the very nice wishes! We went to the Marie Selby Botanical Gardens in Sarasota. OMG!!! What a wonderful place! I took some photos and will post some later. All I could think about was what an awesome place it would be for a great RU! It was a wonderful day, and we avoided the crowds that will be there starting tomorrow because of the holiday decorations. The orchid house was incredible. We had a nice lunch outside on the patio in the cool breeze with a white heron.. We've never seen so many species and so much amazing old growth vegetation! There are 9 acres of beauty right on the Gulf...another mansion converted into a wonderful place for the public!! For any of you who come down to Florida, it is a MUST SEE! And let us know when you come, and we'll meet you there! LOL!
Can't wait to see the pics
It got colder and windier as the day went on
In the high 50s or lower 60s. I didn't check. My fingers even in gloves were cold so I stopped weeding. the soil is still wet from our rains & grasses came out easily, but the damp made it cold.
Was 56-58 here today...amazing!
