What to do with the Pomegranates ??

Tamesis, Antioquia, Colombia(Zone 12a)

Ok, so a few months ago I was in El Paso, TX and picked up some Pomegranate seeds from a guy, he had this plant on the ground on the front of his house and told me it goes dormant in the winter. Weather in both El Paso and Atlanta is withing almost the same temperatures (except it gets way too hot in El Paso in the summer). So I thought they might like it in Georgia too.
I brought the seeds to Georgia, planted them and got about 6 plants of about 16" to 20" in small pots.
I don't know if I should bring them inside now or just let them go dormant outside, eventually they will go in the ground somewhere, but now I'm babying them so I would like to know what's best for them.

Thank you all for your replies!!!

Here's some info I found....

Let the pomegranate plants grow indoors until they reach at least 2 feet high. The amount of time that it takes your pomegranate plants to reach this height is dependent on the growing conditions, but most healthy plants should reach 2 feet within 2 months after germination. After this time you can either continue growing them indoors by repotting them into larger pots or you can transplant them outdoors.

Remember, whether you're growing your pomegranate plants indoors or outdoors, they need warm temperatures and lots of sunlight to flourish. Outdoors you can probably grow pomegranate plants in USDA zones 7 to 10, but the fruit will be best and the plants will grow fastest in warmer climates.

Thanks!!!!

That's great and all I needed to know, so they are coming indoors for this winter. Unfortunately I don't have a place inside that gets a lot of light, so I don't know how much growing they'll experience this winter, but for sure they will be ready after next growing season.

Thank you !!.
