Never a dull moment in my flowerpots WHAT is this?

Arlington, VA

Sometimes I remember what I have planted-- other times the birds do the planting for me-- this time I have no idea who planted this, nor what it is. This has been on the balcony. I just brought it in. The leaves are about 1 foot high, originate from central stalks, need alot of water - don't smell like anything much when they are gently "scratched".
Thanks
PS-- that is a Christmas Cactus in another pot, behind this mystery plant. Ditto, for the Snakeplant and Ditto again for the woody stalk, which is from a vine I cut back.

I was thinking about Dock too at first glance Moon but, the dock's that grow here are thicker leaved with more pronounced veins and a very slight shine. then I thought maybe one of the foxgloves, no! then went onto think Meconopsis (Himalayan Poppy) but you know what, I now settle for the plant genius called Wat's-it's-name, I grow them all the time and like Acemoose said, NORMALLY you can remember all your plants but there's always a few that stump you ha, ha, ha. Hope someone comes in fast as my curiosity is killing me, I know I've seen this often but where or when, jeeeeees take a guess !!!!.

Maybe knock it out from the pot and see if it has the tell tale long Tap Root that all Docks have, then you either have dock or eliminate that suggestion. Good Luck. WeeNel.
