I have a young Nagami kumquat tree. Some leaves are discolored (see picture). Could this be caused by a nutrient deficiency or is it a disease? Thanks for any suggestions!
Nagami kumquat tree - discolored leaves
I would say nutrient deficiency. When citrus leaves are yellowy like that it means they're deficient in certain minerals such as nitrogen and iron.
Thanks - I'll have to apply more fertilizer.
lack of water can cause leaves to yellow also. you can try some iron but i would not fertilize till spring unless you can keep it well protected over the winter. even a cold wind can burn new growth
