Could use some prayers form my hubby Brian. He goes to court tomorrow for his workmans comp case. This has been almost nine years and we would like to have a suitable end to it tomorrow. All your prayers and good wishes thrown his way would be much appreciated. Thank you. ^_^
Coffee break #67
will do
Thanks Lucy. :)
Jan, I'm so sorry to hear about the tragic death impacting your family in such a painful way. Sending you hugs to share...
Victor, that eulogy sent chills over me, because one of my NH friends' daughter, whom I was very fond of, died last spring of cancer at a pretty young age, leaving three young sons. My friend was with her when she died, and her last words, uttered loudly and clearly and with a happy giggle despite being too weak to speak just before this moment, were those exact words. My friend was very comforted by her words.
Celeste, I was typing when you wrote your post for Brian. You've got it! Please let us know how it comes out! Best of luck!
prayers being sent!
Thank you both!!
Prayer already sent. Will repeat.
Thanks Yank!
Check out that video guys, it made me feel good.... great Dad to take lesson with his daughter for her special day.

Prayers are on the way!
I was thinking about how Steve Jobs accepted death too. Seems some of us can enjoy the whole adventure of life, even as our bodies prepare for death. I think It is an attitude to admire greatly.
Praying, Celeste, for a suitable outcome. It has been a long time.
Thanks, Louise. Many are working to getting something done at that intersection to make it safer.
Will be praying Celeste
Same here, Celeste.
That's amazing, Louise.
hope it works out for the best celeste
Thanks everyone, he goes this afternoon @ 1:30. If everything goes the way the lawyer thinks....I'll be starting on my log cabin this summer and the Maine RU will be right after it's done. ^_^
You so deserve it!
hugs Celeste!!
It went well, thanks for the good wishes. :)
good, you deserve a break!
That's wonderful!!!! I couldn't be happier for both of you. No one deserves this more! Is the log cabin frame up yet? LOL. Happy hugs to you and Brian!
Time to make reservations?? ^_^
Happy for you Celeste!
mornin Deb.
Celest that sounds great.
He was offered of X amount of $ or go to court with a jury and drag it out longer. He knew he had a good chance to win if we went to court, but the flip side was if he lost he would get nothing. After 7 operations and almost 9 years of this crap, he opted for the money and a good-bye to the insurance company. We have about half of what we need for the house down back. Good enough for us. :)
:)))
I'm just thankful its over! I don't know if I told you guys but we have had to endure being followed by insurance detectives, people walking up our road with cameras taking pictures of Brian, hoping to catch him doing something he shouldn't be. They actually parked across the street when we had our family 4th of July party, and last month when Josh came home from his hunt with his Moose, they were waiting w/camera for brian to come out of the house. They tried to ruin that bonding time with his son, they followed me for over 10 miles one day...I was really creeped out until I figured out who it was. They even solictited neighbors to call them if they saw Brian outside shoveling or doing any physical activity!! It was boarding harrassment and we were very tired of it. :(
Unfortunately, there are many phonies out there. That is why it's done.
Happy 84th birthday to my dad!!
Yep Celeste they do it all the time but with so many people faking injuries they really need to do it
Happy b-day to your Dad Victor!
EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW send some bats and dragonfiles down there to take care of them
Thanks, Jen.
What we're all paying for phony and fraudulent disability is a big part of the cost of healthcare. They just uncovered a huge scam at the LI railroad. You basically said when you wanted to 'retire' and that set into motion your 'disability'. There were good things about the Americans with Disabilities Act, but so much abuse. Everyone is disabled now. You're fat, you're disabled. Can't breathe because you CHOSE to smoke 40 years, you're disabled. Alcoholic or dug abuser, you're disabled. It's beyond ridiculous.
good news celeste
Glad to hear that things are finally going well, Celeste.
victor .... how about gardening addict? Does that qualify as crazy????
Course not.
Possibly, but we know how to treat it, don't we?? ^_^
Not sure I am treatable. lol
