Garden photos #19

and here are my green beans that I usually plant in pots. This year I'm trying them in the ground.....

Talavera urn with red salvia and red/purple cupphia (also called "bat face" plant). the flowers are bright red with purple lips....

one guilty dog with a dirty mouth from digging up a clump of grass and eating the roots....:(

That's it for now! When things grow a bit more, I'll get the camera back out. Hope you all still have some color to enjoy up there! And Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Wow Jen! That is a lot of birds!! Great shot! I've seen those type of birds in large numbers here a few times but they seem to stick more to the trees and sky. None so far this year.

Thanks, Allison and Celeste! It's fun now to sit back and watch things fill out. It will look very different every month. Things grow really fast here with the tropical sun.

Meredith - we left before the storm. We arrived here on October 15th. We felt a bit guilty seeing what everyone was going through. How did you make out? Did you lose many trees or shrubs?
