Garden photos #19
Robin, I' glad your woodland tobacco bloomed! I have one that never bloomed. I think I waited to plant it too long though so it's probably my fault.
Wha your yard looks wonderful in fall! At first glance I thought your rock flowers were some kind of ornamental seed pods! :) I can't beleive the snow out there right now! It is insane! lol
Wha, I love your sango kaku. I had one years ago. One spring someone asked me if I painted the trunk red! I especially loved the contrast of the chartreuse spring leaves against the trunk. Your whole garden is beautiful, including the stone flowers...

Beautiful pictures Bill, glad you took some before the snow came. :)
Some of you may remember last Nov. i went to my favorite nursery for their annual Pointsetta Festival. I bought several poinsettas and 2 cyclamen. I lost one of the cyclamen this summer but kept the other one alive by the skin of my teeth. Planted it in the ground last Aug. when it was cooler and it bounced back. This was taken last friday...it WAS looking good!! Now buried. :(
celeste nice flowers! had some petunia's and geraniums going here too - buried now:)
Thanks Bill!
Thanks, Bill and Celeste for the walk through your fall gardens. I see why Bill likes JMs and his rock flowers. I can never keep a hardy cyclamen alive myself, so I've given up.
Hope springs eternal!
Thats stamina
agreed
WOW
We still have some fall color with plants like Monkshood, Balloon Flower, Roses, and even an iris blooming away along with many plants strutting their stuff in the greenhouse. It all makes me happy. I love seeing Pixie's cyclamen. I need to go out and root around to see if mine will be blooming soon or if they are even still there. We had fall crocus recently that hadn't bloomed in years and now they are showing up again. Nice surprise. Here are a few things both inside and out taken today. Patti
nice Patti!!

Hi everyone, we were without power from 8:30 pm Sat night up until Thursday afternoon. I have never been without power that long. The ice storm put us out for 3 days and I thought that was bad! Anyhow I have some pics to share. Not sure if you can see it well but we lost the tops of many trees around here.
Wow Meredith, glad you're back.
It's good to be back! : ) We don't have a generator and I plan to start a savings fund for one a.s.a.p. I always think "we will never lose power that long again if we buy a generator." if that's what it takes to prevent week long power outages I want to do it! lol
Here's another oak that is now missing it's top in my yard. :(
Ge, Nice to see your garden in all seasons. It looks good even in Nov. which is quite a feat. Patti
Meredith, wow, what a mess, and so sad. Glad you are back
We had no snow but did have a nearly a 100 mile an hour gust that took down a big cedar and pushed over a peach tree. DH cut the cedar down as this was the third time it was pushed over in the last 20 years but we righted the others and tied them down. But we will leave on the wires only for a short time as the trees will do better without them. Patti
