It's rained yesterday and still raining now, makes the old bones ache. :(
It's 52 now, having a high of 55 today , guess we don't have far to go. Steady rain this morning with showers continuing this afternoon.

soggy for sure... poured like crazy yesterday evening.. good news is Randy and I called it quits packed up everything.. came inside 10 mins later it poured really heavy... and the wood stove is on this morning
Wet here, but our major rain has been overnight lately. 60 degrees. Ground was dry enough for 8 hours of building up and planting a shade garden yesterday. The body has its own limits, but weather permits buying more amendments to the soil, and I can spot the drainage issues to fix.

Rain, Rain, and more rain......
Rain cut us a break today, but it's sort of gloomy and overcast with lots of damp leaves on the ground. It will be 30 on Thursday night here. Right now it is a damp 60.
found 1.2" in the rain gauge this am. currently 55 and windy.
It rained early this morning, but we were blessed with a mostly sunny day...temp was around 62, & walking was just wonderful....sat on the patio, looked at the weeds, & didn't budge....

Thanks, Celeste. We still had a nice time despite the rain. Felt very bad for the locals, though. They were really devastated in Windham by Irene. Very sad to witness.
wish it had not been so humid this weekend - lot's going on here building a two large "runway" beds for peony that will be arriving soon - will probably plant dahlia's down the middle
Kinda damp and raw here in Annapolis. The plan is for baby and mom to come home on Tuesday. Both are doing well.
Peony and dahlia. Bill, what a great combination. I hope you have blooms to post in spring. Two of my peony orders haven't come yet, either.
It was pretty buggy for me today, still planting, but T-shirt weather at least.

We had beautiful weather for the day and then... rain. It's 45 degrees now and no sun forecast. Indoor recess again!?
We had a cold rainy weekend in the Adirondacks, now it is supposed to go back to the 70's this week. We had a lovely cabin on the lake, so even though we had to stay inside and do indoor activities, it was a beautiful setting and view.
