These look really dry. How long have they been there? How much sun do they get? Is the soil acidic?

Conway, SC

First, answer Kwanjin question---is the soil acidic ? That is important for azaleas. I am prone to think it might be a problem with the root system maybe nematodes. It looks like all the plants are the same age (fairly young). If so, I would carry one back to the place where I purchased them and ask for replacements. You can't fix a bad root system.
Also, I think I might be seeing the results of white flies. Shake the bush and see if you see anything fly off. Mealy
bugs will leave a white sticky deposit. If you see this--spray with Malathion. However, looking at the tips of the new growth it still appears brown and again I think the problem might be the bad roots. Are they all doing the same thing and were they all purchased at the same time and same place ?

You may also want to check out this link. There are a number of fungal diseases that azaleas are susceptible to also.
