Appallingly bad pix volume 20

Chillybean, Bad picture. But, oh so funny story! ^_^

Grand-Falls, NB(Zone 4a)

So funny Chilli, sound like something I would have done myself. But what a disappointment for the camera handler.

I took a lot of these, just like it.

I am not sure I can top my last bad one, but here is a couple from our CBC yesterday. Of course, this had to be the best Harris's sparrow pic we got.

Here is a lifer for us, a Long-eared Owl. There were two there, but the second one is even harder to see than this one.

Oh, Burn, that's a heartbreaker. We hardly ever see them around here. Hope you got some good ones.

Chillybean, That Harris Sparrow is really, really bad! ^_^ But, the owl. I've never seen one. I'd be happy with that shot.

I went to Brazos Bend State Park today for three glorious hours. I saw a lot of birds, but only got a few good shots. I did however, get a whole bunch of bad, bad shots. I pared it down to the three worst of the worst.

This one, well, at least it's sharp. And half a bird isn't so bad, huh? Okay, yes, it's bad.

This time I got the whole bird, but what a blur. I don't know what I focused on, but it wasn't the bird. And got way too much clutter.

So much for Eastern Bluebirds. Here's a failed try at a Myrtle Warbler.

And, there were so many more ...

Good bad ones guys!

Our latest yard bird... Northern Harrier. My husband had troubles tracking it with the camera to get a shot.

Oh thanks Resin.

Horned Grebes, I think. After half a dozen try, I gave it up. This maybe best shot of the bunch.

I thought this was cute, but the quality is not there.

Thanks Resin for the ID confirmation. Couple of Pekin ducks. The lense was to busy focusing on the dainty wispy willow branches instead. lol

I took over 600 photos in two days visiting a nearby park. I kept about 60 of them. Get ready... No, don't worry. I'll just share one of the discards. I thought it was cute in spite of being bad.

This little Ruby-crowned Kinglet just would not come out where I could photograph him. He would peek out at me, but stayed in that dense thicket. It was so dark in there, I had the ISO jacked way up, so the noise reduction destroyed any detail. Bad. But, cute!

Aaw, that is very cute, P_Edens.

Taken Wednesday. The only window I could get this from was the kitchen and it has that unhandy screen there. I painted over what might make others squeamish. It was kind of messy. We didn't see the Cooper's catch the prey, but figured it was not a Goldfinch. It was a feeder watch day and there were 9 earlier and then 10 after the hawk left.

Those kinglets are not usually very cooperative...still not bad!

Awesome pic CB!
