Hi All. I had decided that i was going to grow some purple potatoes in a HUGE container this summer, all was going well, the plants were getting nice and big, but then later on i noticed grubs getting everywhere in the soil, and some had even started eating holes in some of the potatoes, so i had to dig them back out if i hoped for even a small taste of purple potato goodness. on the bright side, there were some potatoes left that i could save as "seed" potatoes for next time. So i am looking for information on NATURAL grub killers/repellants that will be safe to use on my potatoes without poisoning the roots to where they wouldnt be safe to eat, etc. while im on this topic, how about a natural repellent for the tiny little black beetles that ate little holes in the leaves too?
Thanks!
Grubs in my potato garden, natural treatments?
