Hit 83 today. Felt much better than yesterday, though. Less humid and breezier. Now it's 80, with 60% H.
Saturday looks ideal! Mid 60's and clear. Going to the Army football game.
Weather In Your Garden # 105
At our high now of 79°, a little windy around midday, but it's settled down big time the last couple of hours, humidity 61%.
Our high was 83 as well. The mosquitoes were horrible outside today. Everyone got multiple bites during recess and that was in the sun with a breeze. Those ladies must have been desperate for a meal. Then by the time I get home, the sun's going down. Boo hoo. No garden for me.
yeah!!.. they are spraying in my town Thursday morning!!!
Excellent! ... I hope they don't use the cheap stuff! ☺
72°
with all the flooded areas STILL.. they are out of control here.. will be happy to be rid of some of the little devils
I bet, hope it helps, they love that stagnant water, - nasty little buggers..
We have had lots of flies lately too.
65 now going to 82.. thunderstorms... said today is the last summer feeling day
Same here....66 going up to 76 today. It says our high for Friday will only be 59 degrees!
we are not far off with 65 as a high
Time to pack away my shorts and tank tops I guess. :(
Did anyone notice biting flies were more prevalent this year? I had trouble with them earlier, before hurricane.
Its' 60 degrees and very, very humid! Where's that cold front?
it is really humid this morning... I heard them mention the frost word in the forecast before
Good morning, everyone.
Currently 57 degrees in WNY heading up to the low 70's. Sunny and very nice today.
Have a blessed and wonderful Wednesday, friends. ☺
-Dave
70°, slight breeze from the Southwest at 6 mph, H 89%, clear skies.
Going up to 81° here, humidity will make it feel like 84°. Becoming partly cloudy with isolated thunderstorms possible later today.
Dropping down to 63° tonight under partly cloudy skies.
NewsRadio this am reports the Farmer's Almanac is predicting lower than avg temps beginning in November along with higher than avg snowfall amounts for the Northeast this winter.
- glad I just got a set of great snowtires, - though I still haven't convinced myself on a snowblower yet...
Last hot and humid day. Yucky for my first group hike this AM. Change coming!
Have fun on the hike, Victor ...it must seem liberating to be able to walk with your group again! Temps here will be in the high 70s, lower 80s.....the frost word was mentioned here also for Fri. night ...I hope not....the dahlias are just starting to look nice, & there are many green tomatoes! Charlotte's Web....
Humid again...my slider door was steamed up couldn't even see out of it
I hadn't been out there this past week when the sun started setting...oh my gosh!!!! so right about those stinkin' mosquitos!!!!!!!! My daughter has a ton of bites on her...it was even dusk yet and we had to go in
70 today, calling for barely 60 tomorrow.
Yes - very sticky. Ended up not going hiking and don't regret it.
Still hot in the sun. Temp 82° Dug an iris for a friend, could only do one fan as they had separated. Collected a bee on my back which was stuck in my shirt. Upset, I could hear the buzz. I was just as upset as it was. DH was able to catch & squash it. Bumble bee type but not one of the huge ones.
Wow, Lucy....good thing you weren't stung! Very humid right now....
Glad you weren't stung
It hit 86°
It felt a little sore, so perhaps there was some placement of the point but feeling ok at the moment.
Wow - think you've had it bad?!!

Relatives in TX have had over that amount.
They just said a chance of snow showers in the Mts. area of Maine this weekend.
We drop down to 34 degree's Sat. night!!!
WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes - dress warmly! ^_^
chilly here today, had to come home and put sweats on
this was after yesterday was still 84 at 5:30pm
It was hot and buggy here today. I heard the frost word, but not sure it applies to us. I'll have to check as I'm out of town this weekend and can't picture the kids noticing and bringing in pots or covering anything. All my baskets are way past prime at this point anyway. Could put the suet back up in their place. I bet the chipmunks would love that.
Chicago's weather looks lovely for the weekend though.
it is now raining. I guess the cold front is here.
Jumper got the cold front.. Tee minus 30 hrs and counting! ☺
73° with 87% humidity and barely a breeze.
Can't wait!!
one cold front came through last night, the other one just got here.
- Thanks Jumper!
It's been too hot to work in the sun.
I agree Iris, just pulling a few weeds & I was sweating like crazy
