mid 80's today and humid. Saying tomorrow will be hotter, yuck!

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

Partly cloudy, humidity 100%, temp 70 heading to 80. Not the greatest, but still not too bad. Aren't there still some people missing?

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's 55 going up to a sunny 75 today.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning, everyone,

Sunny and 68 degrees in WNY heading for the upper 80's today. Nice.

Have a blessed and fantastic Friday, friends. ☺

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

64°, wind from the Northeast at 7 mph, H 83%, and we have clear skies.

On the way to 75° today, with a real feel of 79°, hazy sun for the rest of the day.
Becoming partly cloudy tonight, dropping down to 61°.

Our forecast for the Labor day weekend suggests today will be the best day weather-wise. Plenty of tourists from the city heading East for the Hamptons last night. Main Hwys are bound to have heavier than usual traffic tonight.

Thomaston, CT

Sunny & high 70s today....a great day to be in the garden!

South Hamilton, MA

sunny & a bit chilly 64° showers predicted for the weekend.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Nice today. Sunny and 74. Each day will worsen from here through Monday.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Starting to get cloudy now
chance of showers all weekend

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Why to they think that this tropical depression in the gulf is going to make such an ubrupt right hand turn, instead of continuing on the path that it's on???

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Because it doesn't want to go to Houston, it's too hot over there!
- Looks an area of high pressure over Texas is acting as a 'wall', so it's bouncing off and going an easier path instead..

Edit: looks like it may have already made the turn..

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

94 and humid. Calling for showers on Sun :( I have a horse show that day. Hope it changes.

Thomaston, CT

Wow....that's hot for Sept.

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

even for here. We stay warmer in Sept. than New England does.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Well that's just weird

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

86 yuck

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

74° Yippee!

South Hamilton, MA

66° & hungry small mosquitos. Perhaps they are the 'asian' type which stay out in the sunshine. Those are supposedly here as if we needed any more.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

High was only 79° today(or should I say yesterday) NICE!!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

even though it's nice out.. had to close the windows.. mosquito spraying in town this morning

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

- yes that would be a issue with all the standing water in those areas, especially after the storm. I wonder whether it's part of a routine schedule or if it's a heightened effort due to all the flooding..

63°, wind 0.0, H 90%, and it's very cloudy here this am.

On the way to 78° here today, wind will be from the Southwest at ~8 mph, spotty thunderstorms predicted throughout the day.
Dropping down to 66° tonight, with the continued possibility of thunderstorms.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning, everyone.

Partly cloudy and a very humid 75 degrees in WNY heading to the upper 80's. Thunderstorms coming. I feel it in my joints.

Have a blessed and super Saturday, friends. ☺

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

it is due to the flooding.. they are hitting those areas first.. they really haven't sprayed this year that I know of.. they usually do the woods behind us.. but due to budget I am sure that is why they have not this year.. I bought more of that natural yard spray.. and in the process of applying it.. got bit by a mosquito .. give me a break will ya.. figured it is better than nothing.. I mostly worry about the yard drains we have.. should get some dunks to put in there.. there is usually a puddle in the bottom that can not move on

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Sounds like a plan, hopefully it will cool down enough now to slow the mosquitoes a bit, just enough to enjoy the outdoors and do some Autumn chores..

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

70 and humid @ 8:21 am. High is predicted to be 93 today, ugh!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

they said it was going to get muggy here.. but 83.. might as well keep the windows closed and the air on

Thomaston, CT

Partly sunny, nice breeze, going into the low 80s....I'll be out weeding....

Thomaston, CT

Sorry I weeded...the humidity was so bad, the sweat was just pouring down my face.....the one garden I tackled looks much better, though.....

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

yeah when I went out this after noon I was happy the mosquito sprayers were out and the windows were closed.. swampy out there

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

Jezz, such a difference.. barely hit 78° here, very comfortable. Which was good because a convoy of bulldozers and dump trucks were prowling the local streets picking up the debris from the storm. DW and I put out a 4'x 5'x10 foot pile of branches and large limbs which had fallen and they picked them up with one swipe of the bulldozer. - all gone. - so is one of my pine trees in my bird garden. - but that's ok. - it was too close to the house, don't want it too close for the next hurricane...

71°, H 75%

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

cold front coming through late tonight.

South Hamilton, MA

To here eventually I hope.

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Still 80 degrees in WNY and very humid at 10:45 pm. Monday we'll be lucky to see the upper 60's.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

72 now going to 85

Mid-Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 5b)

73 and heading to 88. Humidity is really up there. We have thunderstorms predicted today and an increasing chance of rain every day through next week. Going back to school and the kids will have inside recess? Ugh. And, where is all the water going to go? The streams are still running high.

I have to close the windows and put on the AC. The nice weather was so brief.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It's 66 right now a mix of clouds and sun with a slight chance of thunderstorms this afternoon. High 79F. Winds SSE at 10 to 15 mph

Amherst, NY(Zone 6a)

Good morning, everyone.

Rain and 71 degrees in WNY. Going to the upper 70's with more rain and thunderstorms today. Only getting up to the upper 60's tomorrow.

Have a blessed and super Sunday, friends. ☺

-Dave
