Seems we've been through 'the mill' lately, earthquakes, hurricanes, floods...
What next? How about some sunny, nice weather with some cool nights sprinkled in!

Currently in my part of Long Island, NY;
65°, wind from the North at 5 mph, Humidity 70% and it's a mostly clear night.
I heard on the news that some places on Long Island will not have power till Friday. Maybe that is why Pirl not writing. Least it is not hot like here in Ga.
Yes that is true, especially in that area, which has many overhead power lines on old wooden poles. The opening picture of Misc shots 2011 #4 was taken in that vicinity, it gives you an idea.

Unfortunately we have another TS trying to become a hurricane and heading towards the eastern seaboard again! Will have to keep on eye on this one. No pun intended.

The weather has been awesome since the storm, for which I am very thankful.....just got back my tv, computer & phone all of which went out Sunday night, after the storm!
Wonderful weeding weather this afternoon, except for some small mosquitos looking for Blood! Much smaller than the usual ones, & not as fast as I whacked about a dozen. They should NOT be out in the daytime. Clear weather predicted until the weekend.
Beautiful picture WC. Beautiful weather today. Cool at night. Couldn't be better. Thank goodness for all the people trying to dry out their basements. There are still people locally without power. Some won't have it until the weekend. I'm so lucky.
