I am starting my compost bin (yeah I know it is a little late LOL) and with winter on its way I am wondering if it should have holes in it or not. I know that in the summer it needs holes and I have a trash can I use for that but I figured that in the winter it needs the heat so the holes would let the heat out. So what should I do holes or no holes?
-Thanks
Holes in compost bin (winter)
Definitely holes. The compost needs oxygen to proceed with the composting process.
Okay doing it now THANKS kwanjin!!!!!!
You're very welcome!
