Hi,
First excuse me, please for probably my mistakes of language but I am french and it's really difficult to begin to write there. At least, and it's sure the most important, I am a gardener like you!
So I have a problem with a young quince tree, I suppose that it's a problem of canker, can you give me if it's right or wrong??
Thank you very much for your answers!
a big problem with my quince tree!
If you mean the fuzzy looking enlargement where the stem attaches to the fruit, then I would guess that it might be a gall which will contain an insect larva. You can check by slitting one open and looking for the larva. I'm not familiar with canker, so I'll have to leave that question for someone more knowledgeable than I am.
You are doing very well with English, I would be lost if I had to put something into French.
