I see what you mean about the Hummingbird on the wire, nanny. A bit of overkill, eh? The Phoebes that are still there - will they overwinter in your area or will they head off on migration, even though most of the others have already gone?

Margaret, yes all the phoebes will migrate eventually....they have the sweetest little call!

We had 3 orioles here today...that was a bonus so sat outside and drank coffee and listened to them and watched them come eat jelly!
