We have had 2 oleanders for years, we winter them in the house. This year we noticed that regular flies are all over them (not aphids). The plants seem to be a bit sticky and when you shake them the flies all take off, only to return again; any idea what the cause of this is?
I really don't want to get rid of the plants but can't stand the flies all over the patio
