I have had a peace lily plant for about 3 years. After it thrived for 2 years, I think I overwatered it and, in spite of everything I do it keeps getting new growth that looks great at first and then brown areas appear. I've seen a friends' plant get brown tips on the leaves, but mine gets them in a large area of the leaf. I've sprayed it with soapy water (though I never saw any sign of insects, disease, etc.). I've fed it Miracle Gro (a weakened mixture). I've repotted it. I still have it sitting where it thrived for 2 years. Every time I think I'm going to give up and throw it out, I notice several new shoots starting and I can't bear to throw it out. Any suggestions?
