House for sale on my block, come on down! Of course, you wouldn't want to move away from your kids
We went out for Chinese and then ice cream at this most awesome ice cream place....they own their own dairy so it's super fresh and all their ingredients are organic
Getting ready for community time for church tomorrow...you know me I like to do themes...so this theme is back to school....I bought some Scrabble Cheeze-its and ABC cookies, I made cookies that look like apples
http://www.pillsbury.com/recipes/apple-slices/0b551322-824b-4ad6-8db4-3d51c132e88e/
Apple cinnamon muffins, apple/bacon canapes, and a grown up version of pb&j and the rest is just veggie platter and pepperoni and cheese(I know doesn't really fit in but needed some meat and something good for you)
Hubby looks at the muffins and asked how it fits in with the back to school theme.....um hello???? APPLES
Wow, Jen...you are ambitious! Those cookies are too cute! Pixie, that cake sounds very yummy.....tonight, baked chicken, pasta salad, tomato salad......
Jen, it all sounds delicious. Especially the apple/bacon canapes.
I'm planning to make hot dogs and beans on the grill for dinner tonight. We have an old blue-speckled bean pot and I will doctor up canned beans with onions and bbq sauce and cook them in there.
I'm bringing baked beans & BBQ pork for tomorrow's picnic.....I do the same thing, gussy up canned beans.....for colder holidays, I do bake beans from scratch....
Grilled turkey tenderloin sliced and served over pasta in a cream sauce seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic, thyme, and dijon mustard.
we are doing our part.. went to charlie browns tonight
