Dany's MG 2011 - 03

I started sprinkling regular pepper around the vines. They don't seem to like pepper. But you have to keep sprinkling it every other day. Maybe it makes them sneeze too much? LOL! Though I think it might be a repellent. I think they just like chewing on things to wear their teeth down. Their teeth keep growing unlike ours. I haven't had any chewing problems since I started growing plants in those buckets and containers. Maybe they are too high off the ground for the rodents to get up to?

Becky, glad they're not a problem for you now that you plant most of your vines in a large container.
I have kitties so they keep the rodent population down here.
