Another 90+ day here today. Hit 92. Now 91, with 51% H. Partly cloudy. Might get rain later.

Raining now. Thunder/lightning too.

The storms have passed me by so far...hoping for several inches of rain, the garden is a sandy mess!

Just had a downpour. 0.26" so far.

Hot sun for the last hour but prior to that the clouds were a big help so I could dig out ditch daylilies, sent by an unscrupulous eBay seller to someone who never saw them bloom and shared them with me when she got delivery so the blame goes to that eBay seller. Rotten!

Not a drop of rain here so far although the radio is crackling from T-storms to the West. Small but Strong thunderstorms passing through here later tonight. Tonight's low 66° with winds shifting Northwest.

Well, I was out and saw lightening in the distance and had a brief shower that we drove through. Thought the rain was mostly not going to happen, but when I got home, son told me there had been rain and hail and the leaves and grass blown everywhere backs him up. At least a quarter inch of rain in the buckets outside. Interesting how these things happen so locally. I was about 5 miles away and no storm.

Did see photos of the hail on Weather Channel. Lots of thunder & lightning here, & a downpour for about 15 minutes.....thank God!

88° at the moment. rain was predicted but didn't arrive. I wear walking shoes, not my normal rockports as they didn't have my size in when I bought these. Nuerologist said not to go barefoot etc. because of the diabetic foot problems but I never have done so.

So I have a low IQ, certainly a low computer Q. IE switched by home page to Goggle from 'Welcome home irisMA' & I don't know how to switch it back. The browser is the one it came with & I have enough computer problems without messing with it.

Hail farther south Jersey, no storm here but cooled things off A LOT, got more planting done, was planting some lilies and I noticed in the corner of my eye some critter move, in my dianthus, there is a bunny nest, 3 itty bitty bunnies came out to see if I was their mom, by the time I came back with the camera they had burrowed farther into the hole

Knocked off the internet for the last 5hrs due to lightning storm just south over the ocean, no rain, just a light show that rivaled the Grucci bros. 2" bird droppings were falling from the sky once the seagulls saw the lightning bolts.

had a breif t-storm yesterday. East of me got wind and hail with it. Glad I missed out on that!

It's nice today, 80s and breezy and not humid. Last night around 10pm there was a lightening show in a group of clouds south of me. No thunder, just a set of clouds that kept lighting up. It was pretty interesting. Only rarely could I see actual lightening.

It seldom matters. It rains all over but not in my gardens! I just don't get it.

Saw on the news that the Boston area was getting pounded by storms at around 6.......Cathy, I'm surprised you didn't get anything yesterday....I thought Fairfield County was hit hard......

Rain said 'north to Peabody'. That is south of us drat!
