I am looking for a plant that can survive in or out of the house. I want to give as wedding gift so it can grow with them and eventually be planted outside when they acquire a home of their own. Help??

Do you know what kind of lighting situation they will have for this plant? That would make a big difference in what type of plant you can give them.
