SOJ, you got some nice daylilies. I have 4 of the ones you got, and those would be PUDDIN, CHICAGO ARNIE'S CHOICE, STRUTTERS BALL and ICE CARNIVAL. All are very nice.

Here is one of my late mother's cultivars, which I'm calling HELP ME RHONDA.

Another of my late mother's. I call this one CRANVIEW CRANBERRY KING.

Clump shot of that one.

This is a clump of another of Mom's that she named CRANVIEW FAERIE'S TUTU. The melon one behind it is another of hers that she named CRANVIEW SUMMIT SUNSET.

Two more of hers, one she named CRANVIEW PICOTEE BLUE EYES (in front) and CRANVIEW FAIRTIME (behind, a very prolific bloomer and increaser).

Are those of your Mom's already registered?

No, none are registered. One of these days I'll get it done. Some I don't have much of to sell. Others, like CRANVIEW FAIRTIME, I have lots of.

Here is JOVIAL with a katydid (?) friend.

NICE

I LOVE CRANVIEW CRANBERRY KING and UPTOWN GEORGIA BROWN
I think I need JEN MELON

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Jen, btw, love your biker bar. To answer your question about reblooming daylilies, yes, there is usually a pause between reblooming. It will stop and a new scape will come up and bloom. Then there are continuous bloomers that keep putting up new scapes all summer. When the first set is done, the next set will start, etc. I have one that does that. It is STELLA'S RUFFLED FINGERS. It's the only continuous bloomer I have. I also have many daylilies in my gardens that are registered as rebloomers, though here in the north we are lucky if they ever do. They need much longer seasons and usually plenty of water throughout the season. The hybridizer who owns Slightly Different Nursery has hybridized many continuous bloomers (also called recurrent). http://www.slightlydifferentnursery.com/site/

Here are two very pretty NOID's.

Thanks, Jen. I'd give you some of if I had enough. I've had it for 3 years now, and it seems to increase pretty slowly.

More of those NOID's.

Thanks for the reblooming info

That is a nice one(Balckberries and Cream)

Another of my late mother's cultivars that I haven't named yet. Maybe CRANVIEW LAVENDER BLUE EYES. The pod parent is PRAIRIE BLUE EYES, pollen parent unknown.

WILD MUSTANG is AWESOME!!!

Halifax, MA(Zone 6a)

Celeste, I just wanted to mention I've enjoyed looking at all your DL pics. I think this one is GREEN FLUTTER: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/p.php?pid=8710191 One of my faves of yours is PLEASE SAY YES. And CRIMSON EDGINGS is heart-stopping!

Meredith, I love your shot of JOAN SENIOR with the blue and purple flowers. What a striking combo!

Lucy, that's hybridized by Bob Sobek, right? BURNING DAYLIGHT is one of the parents, and one I have and like an awful lot.

Karen

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Very nice Karen, love Jovial and Help Me Rhonda. But my fav is Black Berries and Cream....I love eyed DL's!!
Those are what I seem to be drawn to most. This is one that I get excited about every year because of the colors in the eye/throat area.

so many pretties Karen!!

South Hamilton, MA

Right Karen, a Sobek DL. It usually starts bloom about now & keeps on into the end of Sept. My DD in Ohio has it & it can go into Oct for here as she is just a couple black from Lake Erie & doesn't get the early frosts.

Hudson, MA

This is growing beautifully in my perennial bed. There's one just like it in one of my containers. I thought it was a self-seeded impatiens of some sort...but...

Can any one tell me what this is? I'm leaning toward weed at this point.

Just cos everyone else is uploading pretty pics and I think I may have posted a weed, here's some pretty portulaca and celosia to look at.

Thanks, Celeste and Allison.

Oh, I love CAT DANCER, Celeste. Been wanting that one, but I always seem to get other ones instead.

Lucy, maybe I should think about getting PUMPKIN TIME for some late color.

Pretty annuals, Ingrid. You might want to post that pic of your weed (?) in the Perennials forums. Someone there might be able to help. Start a thread there for an ID. I have no idea myself what it is. Maybe someone else here could help. Anyhow, welcome to the NE Gardening forums!

Karen

Thomaston, CT

Irene, that looks like an aster....they are all over my gardens! Karen & Pixie, those were just gorgeous DLs! This is the time of year I love....just can't wait until the next one opens!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Robin I was going to say the same thing...looks like an Aster

Hudson, MA

Y'all are right, it does look like an aster. Don't ever remember planting this. Doesn't mean I didn't. They were my grandmother's favorite. It's kind of big and unwieldy where it is, but I guess it will stay...for now, anyway.
