tree pruning

Hoboken, NJ

I planted a cherry and peach tree back in April of this year and they seem like
there doing good. The peach looks like it might be in the need for a little
trimming but I have no idea how to start. Or would it be better just to leave it
the 1st. year.

Some photos when I planted them 3 months ago and now.

Instead of replying to add photos, I started new posts by accident.
I sent a note for the mods to delete, sorry for the confusion.

This is the peach now.

Thank you for your reply! Very good info.
I got in contact with stark bros, and they said not
to prune it now but wait till fall.
Your link and their guide should help a lot!

Thanks again,

You're very welcome. Good luck with your fruit trees--can't beat home grown fruits and veggies! I'm slowly building up a fruit orchard--apples, pears, plums, blueberries, strawberries, etc. Love the fresh fruit.
