Yellow and dark spots on Watermelon plant

Hi

I am new to gardening and I have a question please..I noticed that my water melon plant has yellow leaves with dark spots. Does anyone know what this is and how I can treat it before it kills all my other watermelon plants..

I have also noticed that some of the smaller leaves are curling up, could that be from the heat?

I live in North Lousiana and the temps here are pretty hot..up to 103 so far..Could that be part of the problem?

Hi Jennifer. There are a variety of factors that could be causing your problems...heat, lack of rain, then too much rain, viruses, insects...below is a link from the LSU AG center with a number of articles on growing watermelons in LA. Perhaps they will provide some answers for you.
