How hardy is a Nerium Oleander in a container? I'm on the Black sea coast, zone 8a.
Nerium oleander hardiness
I know Oleander is completely hardy in the ground in zones 8 to 10 and is considered root hardy to zone 6. So It would seem with a bit of protection for the roots on the coldest nights it would/should be container hardy in your area. At the worst, it may die back but return from the rootball. I do know it can survive in the ground down to -5C and short periods at -10C.

I'm in zone 8b, but we have had a couple of rough winters and both my oleanders managed 10 degrees without top loss and little mulch.
