I've had mine for years, she's never bloomed. Yours is beautiful, Congrats !!!!

Yes, just gorgeous. My mother planted they by our mailbox (savannah) when I was a child, they got tall, but never flowered. Do you us any type of fertilizer?

Wow! Do you grow that outside? Here in Ontario we grow them in the house, mine has never bloomed either.

I re-potted a group that were given to me 10 years ago last week and I noticed this morning that one had sent up a stalk with buds. I was shocked. Or maybe it was, the shock of finally being in some decent soil with room to grow made it happy :) Dave

8/28 just noticed another one is sending up flowers.

I too was surprised the first year mine bloomed. I believe it has something to do with warmth and sun. When I kept mine indoors year round, they never bloomed. The first summer I put them outside they bloomed. I too was surprised and delighted by the bloom.
