A few shots from yesterday.

This is the new 7 WTC.

Freedom Tower - now over 70 stories.

Reflected in the Millennium Hotel across the street. That hotel was heavily damaged in the attack.

Old and the new - the iconic Woolworth bldg reflected in the Freedom Tower.

Last - the damaged sphere from the WTC plaza. It now sits near the Battery. No plans to bring it back. Don't get that.

Those bird photos were wonderful! Thanks.....Also nice to see NYC through a lens....just so I don't have to go there!

Just dug out a pic I took at 13 years old from our first visit to the towers. It shows the sphere.

I was always too busy looking up to notice it.

Glad I wasn't the camera.

Looks like a stealth bomber coming in low, keeps it's head steady steady as rock & doesn't flinch for a millisecond... has feathers which makes it silent too, - took a few thousand years to perfect the design. (lol)

You can see something lightly colored there.

They must have had a few trial runs, they knew from what direction he/she would be coming in from.. That means the camera was recovered, (not a wireless cam)

That was awesome!!!

Even more awesome is the new camera coming out that can record one million frames per second! Mind-boggling.

They've made one already in silicon valley for the air-force, now they're working on 10 million fps.
100 million fps would be the ultimate I suppose..

In the spirit of today's gov spending, maybe a trillion fps??
