Here's some advice I found and I particularly enjoyed the line about planting them "with roots pointed downward".

They want good air circulation or many can develop really ugly mildew.

Thanks a bunch! I got the new Grey Owl Juniper and Beautyberry in the ground today. I had to dig up a boxwood. Holy cow!!! That thing had roots all the way to Shanghai. I was exhausted jut getting it out. Anyway, tomorrow or Monday I plan to get a few more things in the ground and then I'm done for the summer (maybe).
