It's our first year in our house and there is a tree that my fiances mother claims is an apple, but the fruit are so little, misshapen and ugly i have a hard time believing.g they're edible apples.
There seem to be several problems with the tree, mostly it's big and old and never been properly pruned, at least not in many years. The fruits look awful, bumpy, spotted, & are already dropping from the tree, and the leaves have the same list of problems. Here are some pictures i took today.
Is there hope of saving this, or is this a lost cause?
