I love how they sway in the breeze.
Garden Photos #12
So pretty...I love annual poppies, all kinds. I have a couple of packets, never got around to sprinkling them this year. I could do it next weekend... Is it too late?

July has to be the best bloom month
Mix of everything is happening here this winter. I have too many to seperate all I like and composting the garden will eleminate self sowed.I will harvest in a couple of weeks.
I love all your colors! Poppies are such great fillers...and I have lots of empty space...
keep em comin!!
LOL Campanula punctata is going to be put to the test on my hillside. This hillside has defeated other "invasive species" before. It's partially shady from large oak trees and gets direct morning sun. I have been gardening this hillside for 28 years and have yet to have anything except oak seedlings and dandelions attempt a hostile takeover. Things grow and some grow well, but nothing approaching a takeover. Good luck to it in its try. I would be happy for a small clump to return next year. I seem to recall who gave it to me and I will ask her about it. If it is who I think it is, she probably has more!
Picture is of my hillside from two weeks ago.

Maybe thats it...none of mine are in full sun.
My primrose are in dry shade & do well! Pixie, great lilies....love that yellow one.
Love the comment in plant files
"Punctata" is obviously Latin for "invasive weed."
My primrose does well in the spring/early summer before it gets too hot because they are in full sun(ya think it was say that in the despcription)
Looking great at your place Celeste!
Lobelia 'Fan Scarlet' starting
You didn't pinch them back??
I did
I havea mum that tries to bloom early too.
Looked up the name it's Clara Curtis.. I always forget to pinch.
I am proud to say I remembered to pinch my mums twice this year
