Passion Flower Vine going mad!

West End, NC(Zone 7b)

I planted a Passion Flower last year, next to my deck which has lattice on the side for vines. Last year it didn't do much, but the vines went crazy. This year, not only have the vines gone crazy, it is loaded with flowers and buds. It is beautiful, but the vine is getting into all my container plants, and bird feeders. I need to know how and when to move it. (I thought it was dead over the Winter so did not pay much attention to it.) So now what? I don't want to kill it, but would like to move it to a different place, cut it back or something! One thing I appreciate about it, is it shades my container flowers, so they don't get burnt with our hot, hot sun here in NC. It's been extremely hot here in Zone 7, and I know I can't do anything right now, but someone please give me some advice. If it's this big this year, I almost dread next year.

My mom always trimmed hers up.with no harm done.
Me on the other hand can't bear to. I simply catch the new growth that's forming and train it to my trellis. It's tried several times to attach to my screen windows and the house. I just gently detach the new shoots very gently and wind them where I want them. So far so good. I have done this several times. I am not sure if all Passies die back in the winter or not, but my mom's would get scraggly looking at the end of the season and she always cut it way back. It always came back healthy as ever the following spring.
This is my first year with mine and it has grown tremendously. I don't know what it will look like come winter but time will tell.

Is the Passion Flower vine considered an invasive species? It has gone under the porch now, and is coming up thru the boards! EEEK! I know if I move it, I am going to have to get under the porch to get the rest of the plants out of there. It's georgeous, and I sure don't want to kill it, but if somebody has more ideas, I sure would welcome them!

Some of them spread more aggressively than others. I think most of them tend to be big vines though, so you're going to need a decent size area for them to spread out or be prepared to do a lot of trimming. I have 'White Wedding' which is a very large vine, it's taken over a good bit of the fence along the back of my property line, but it doesn't go anywhere besides the fence (it doesn't die back over the winter, at least in my zone). 'Incense' on the other hand isn't as hardy and seems to die back over the winter, but it pops up runners everywhere in my garden rather than staying on the other half of my back fence which is where I wanted it!

The thing is HUGE! I love it, but need to know how to move it.Do I cut it all the way back? When I dig it up, do I protect the roots? Also when is the best time to move it? It does not seem to need tender care, but don't want to kill it either.
I will appreciate any answers, as it is all over the place. When I planted it, I thought it would just go up the lattice, but oh no, it's everywhere.
Thanks for any info!!!
