Mike, really love your stone home, always wanted one but had to settle for brick. :) The color of Angel's Exotic has good depth to it, more so than any I've seen.

I have a bunch of Fallen angel blooms on the ground. It is so cool that they aren't wilted either. They are beautiful.
Yes, Brugs are a lot of work.
Hugs, Elizabeth.

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
I am so surprized that they haven't wilted, I took a couple of Blooms, put them in a vase, they wilted, I wish there was some way to keep them in water on our tables, I have a cross ApricotXDaydreams, it's white, hopefully next year it will be a darker shade, I have to have the rest of my Brugs dug up by this week end, it's will be cool weather before I know it

Hugs Back at Ya

Hi all, suszie that room and your plants are looking wonderful. I am going to try that idea of yours with the boards on top. I made a long row with a long wide board and two cinder blocks on the other end of the room. it works great.
Elizabeth I am like you, not wanting so many pinks., I like whites the best, except for Kaitlyn, she is my favorite.
would love to try another Miss Bhavin if you trim her. I am still looking for a Peanut.

we are all inside now. nice and warm, getting down to 28 tonight. Brr!

Morning everyone.Long time no see..lol...I have really enjoyed looking thru the posts and seeing all the beautiful blooms! Most of mine are getting ready to put out good flushes, but I'm torn between digging, or trying to cover for the next couple of nights. What do you think, Elizabeth? I have already taken some cuttings, just in case. I cut back on the number of brugs that I have, early this past Spring.Somehow, a couple got mislabled, and I kept 2 solid golds and 2 Apricot moonflowers, and only one pink, along with a few of my favorite others. So, if you all need to pass along any pinks, I'd be happy to send postage for some cuttings.
Things have been a mess here, but hopefully they will settle down soon.
Dee

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

dee I Have some Kay harris Pink Cuttings if you want & also yard sale yellow . a few cuttings then i have some white ones not sure the name. but lots of cuttings if anyone want for postage .
susie

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

HI DEE!!!!! wow I have missed you!
trade u some yellow for some pinks LOL

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Debra, I have missed evryone here, too. There's been a lot of caos(misp?), here, and I haven't had time to think about anything else.Haven't been sleeping well, etc, etc, etc.But what do ya do when you're tired of being tired....turn to your garden buddies of course!
Susie, I'd love a couple cuttings of your K harris pink. I might have a couple that you are interested in, too, or will send postage. I'll send ya list soon.
Debra, you have a deal! But the only true named yellow that I have now is "Solid Gold". I have the same NOID yard sale yellow that Susie has.Got it from faye. I'll need to wait until the 1st, to mail, tho, ladies.Hope thats ok.
Thanks!

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

same here dee after the 1st will work for me. & all the ones I have came from faye also except for a couple i just got back i June from a gal .
my solid gold brug is a variegated one with white blooms is yours ?//

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Susie, my solid gold has solid green leaves and the blooms are a deep, deep yellow. I wonder if yours might have been mislabled....sounds like a maya, or maybe peaches and cream. I will post a pic of my peaches and cream later this evening or tomorrow. It is just beginning a wonderful flush.
Dee

Yes, Susie, That is what gets up addicted. That wonderful smell.
Elizabeth I've been covering and dragging in plants today. supposed to frost.
Doris, it is very beautiful....

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Doris, that is a real beaut, and I know you must be proud! I sure would be.That was so nice of William, to name it after you.
Debra, and Susie, your plant rooms look great. Right now, all my tropicals are on the front closed in porch...well, all except the brugs that I haven't dug.I will be using the basement as a plant room this year, since my youngest daughter has turned the sunroom into her bedroom.:o(...not complaining, I offered it up, but I sure do miss my favorite room, in the house..lol
Here is a pic, of my peaches and cream(thanks to elizabeth!).She hasn't completely popped, but who knows whats going to happen tonight...so I went ahead and took a pic to show you all.
Charleen, your brugs are beautiful, this year!
I am going out now to cover the ones that are still in the ground and hope for the best. I read that they just begin to go dormant at about 40 degrees...so I figure thats ok...as long as they don't croak on me. I do love them!
