I have a currant shrub and it has been growing very well for the last 8 years. It has never produced fruit yet it looked like it was going to this year. It got little berry looking "shoots" on it, although they were about the size of a pin head. Then they were gone. Do i need two shrubs in order fr it to produce fruit? Can i take a start from this bush to make another? Or would it have tobe a completely different shrub?
Thanks in advance.
do i need 2 currant bushes?
