This is my first year for my Meyer Lemon Bush so I am learning. I have 6 very green lemons and new greenery. With the drought we are experiencing on the Gulf Coast, I water at least every other day. This is potted for patio growing.
Will my little greenies ever become yellow lemons? If so, how long does it take. If they will not become yellow, what is missing from my soil and will it help at this stage?
Thanks for any help

I grow fruit trees but I'm too far north for lemons. I was curious though so ran a search and found the above site. It's interesting to note that lemons ripen over several months during the winter (no wonder we can't grow them up here!). I hope this site is helpful. BTW, we've been having a serious drought too--sure makes gardening tough doesn't it?
