Hard to believe we are on thread 100! Not sure when I started this. I find it very interesting to see how different our weather can be, even when we are not that far away.
Humid here. 79, partly sunny, with 67% H.
71°, H 80%, mostly cloudy
68, 87% H., way too sunny for me. I've been working on rhododendron cuttings while sitting in the shade of an umbrella in the dog's spotless pen. Way too humid.
82 and sunny but with some grey sky in the distance. I'm nursing my back today so have been studying and researching. Going to the book store soon.

Turned out partly sunny....and 77! Thought we'd go a day without rain, but no, had a shower when I left for the farm.....just after we finished eating outside, the skies opened in Goshen.....just like a cloudburst!

More showers tonight. tired of wet--but I remember last summer's drought & certainly didn't like that. Have to check some of the iris beds for rot tomorrow.
Southampton was 67 and damp this morning, damp all day even when the sun popped out for a minute. Still damp...

How strange the weather is on the east end of Long Island!
Southold is on the North Fork and Southampton is on the South Fork. Pfg had damp all day and brief sunshine while we had too much sunshine but it was humid until around 4 PM. When the breezes picked up it was glorious.
this is a good mildew type of morning.. with everything being wet out there.. 61 now going to 81
Seems the entire South Shore's weather is dominated by the winds right off the ocean, in the Fall I find the difference very noticeable, damp & misty down there for days on end.. They grow some awesome azalea displays in that damp, misty weather.

Pool troubles continue (as always). Replaced the filter innards, the multi-valve and an o-ring and I am still getting diatomaceous earth back into the pool and the filter is just not filtering. Maddening.
Anyone ever see these lenticular clouds? I have not. They're so cool - look like a spaceship.

Do they only appear over Ireland? Our plane stopped to refuel in Ireland, but all I saw was emerald green from the air.....No asphalt on the road yet....instead the crew dug up 2 of the storm drains they had already installed.....this is maddening! On the other hand, the weather is wonderful!
